The annual Port Ann Wesleyan Vacation Bible School was held July 7-9 with a camping theme of the kids trying to get “S’more of Jesus.”
The kids rotated through sessions including Bible stories, crafts, games and a variety of other activities. The first night, there was a family campfire after the session was over, with plenty of S’mores, some fireworks and fun in a big bounce house. A large water slide was added to the mix Saturday and then again Sunday after the morning service and family picnic.
As usual, the VBS program has become one of the church’s biggest community outreach ministries, and was plenty of fun not only for the kids who participated, but for those from the church that volunteered their time.
