Update on our More Than an Egg Hunt event

Estimated read time 2 min read

With concerns about the coronavirus and current quarantine expectations, our More Than An Egg Hunt event for Saturday, April 4, will be modified to be a special “Drive-Thru” program.

From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on that day, families will be encouraged to drive around the church parking lot (with clear directions and guidance to keep things organized). The vehicle will stop at different stations where kids will receive a devotional about the true Easter message, bags with filled Easter eggs, a goodie bag, information about our church and prayer from our pastor and other church leaders.

If you still have eggs that you filled with candy and that you haven’t been able to bring to church yet, please bring them to the church by Sunday, March 29. Place them in the refrigerator in the Grady Kratzer Pavilion.

If you would like to make a monetary donation to the egg hunt to help cover expenses, please place your donation in an envelope and in the refrigerator in the Grady Kratzer Pavilion by Sunday, March 29.

If you would be willing to help with directing traffic through the parking lot please contact Robin Kratzer.

Our Kidz ministry wants to express deep appreciation for how you have been supporting the egg hunt with your filled egg donations before COVID 19. Our Kidz ministry would appreciate your prayers as we continue to minister to the children and families in our church and community so they see Jesus and feel His peace and love in time of uncertainty. It may be a different way to do an egg hunt but the message of Easter will still be proclaimed.
