The Port Ann Wesleyan women’s ministry has scheduled its 2018 spring women’s retreat for March 2-4 at Sharp’s Retreat lodge off Route 104 outside of Middleburg.
Cost is $50 for those spending the night and $35 for those just coming for the days. The first 30 ladies to sign up are guaranteed a bed. Money is due by Feb. 18.
Those attending are encouraged to arrive after 4 p.m. on Friday, March 2. Departure will be Sunday, March 4 after lunch and a short time of fellowship. Quiet time each night is from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Outside of times of fellowship and devotions, other activities to be enjoyed at the retreat include going for walks, relaxing on the porch, kayaking on a two-acre lake (life jackets provided), paddle boats, ping pong, television/DVD/VHS and an outdoor fire pit.
Items to bring include bedding, sleeping bags/sheets, pillow, towels, washcloths, toiletries, a Bible, notebook and pen.
