Easter morning festivities at Port Ann Wesleyan started with our annual sunrise service at 6:15 a.m. on Mitchell hill. Pastor Paul Sheets led the message, titled “There was a lot of darkness before that sunrise!”
The sunrise service ended with everyone singing the hymn “Blessed be the Name”

After fellowship around a hot breakfast back at the church that included eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, coffee cakes and fruit salad, the combined regular service started at 9 a.m. with a variety of songs, including:
