Port Ann Wesleyan AWANA ministry participates in Middleburg parade

Port Ann Wesleyan was well represented Thursday night in the annual Middleburg Firemans Carnival Parade via the AWANA ministry. The theme was to encourage kids to get “Smore of Jesus” and we handed out Smores granola bars with cards that share information about the upcoming AWANA season.

The float received lots of praise from parade fans and there are rumors we may have won an official prize. Either way, it was a fun time to get out in the community and share the light of Jesus and maybe recruit a few new faces to our AWANA ministry.

Thanks to Ryan and Ruth Smith for safely maneuvering the full parade route and to Robin Kratzer, Beth Freed, Beth Jordan, Christine Mast and Pastor Paul Sheets for helping keep everyone in line.
