Port Ann Wesleyan enjoyed a full morning of worship, fellowship and food as members of the congregation and guests from the community celebrated Easter morning together.
It started with a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service at the Pat and Janie Mitchell Farm near Middleburg. While overcast, it was much warmer than some of the more recent sunrise services and Pastor Paul Sheets shared a message of action, encouraging those in attendance to “walk.”
At 7:30 a.m. back at the church, everyone came together for a breakfast feast. That was followed by a more traditional service in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. with a variety of songs, sermon, videos and prayer.
