Estimated read time 1 min read

Wesleyan missionary to China Dr. Peter Burgos visited Port Ann Wesleyan and shared his testimony for the evening service on Wednesday, March 13. He talked about his path to his faith and ultimately his calling as a long-term missionary. The service combined the regular Wednesday night adult ministry with the youth group and AWANA, and Dr. Burgos was well-received by everyone in attendance.

He stressed the importance of understanding that God is real and that He can meet you right where you are. He shared some of the struggles that missionaries face in China and asked for prayer throughout the first couple weeks of April as missionary teams in China re-assess their goals in the midst of increased persecution. There were lots of questions from congregation members of all ages.

Dr. Burgos talked some about the LIGHT Ministry and how it is winning souls for the lord. For more information about Dr. Burgos, his team and the LIGHT ministry, click here.
