The Port Ann Wesleyan church recently held its annual family based fall festival and trunk or treat event on its grounds near the small town of Penns Creek in Snyder County.

More than 300 people from the local community showed up to enjoy a variety of activities, starting with a special time of games and worship in the church sanctuary followed by horseback rides, a petting zoo, balloon animals, pumpkin-based games, hay rides, pumpkin painting, plenty of homemade food and a trunk-or-treat experience featuring a dozen trunks including one from the local fire company and the Middleburg police.

Many of the people who attended stayed for most of the night, offering a special time of fellowship with the community.
