AWANA ministry enjoys time of fellowship at Thanksgiving

Estimated read time 1 min read

Children affiliated with the Port Ann Wesleyan’s growing AWANA ministry — and their families — were treated to a special Thanksgiving meal prepared by adults from the church and served by Port Ann Wesleyan’s youth group.

Families were treated to fresh roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, vegetables and a wide assortment of desserts. Children’s director Robin Kratzer shared a message with the families, including scripture read by Beth Jordan. There were coloring sheets available at the tables and the evening concluded with some award presentations to the kids who have worked so hard this fall.

AWANA meets 6:45 p.m. every Wednesday night at the church, located along Troxelville Road west of the town of Penns Creek. For more information, send an email by clicking here.
