Former Major League Baseball player Sid Bream to speak at March 16 Wild Game Dinner

Estimated read time 2 min read

From 1983 through 1994, Sid Bream was a major league first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros. He claimed a special place in baseball lore when scoring the game-winning run during the 1992 National League Championship Series that sent the Braves to the World Series.

Since retiring from baseball, Sid continues to use that platform to speak about his faith to as many people as possible. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to talk about God’s awesome handprint across the world, speaking in churches, youth groups and schools all across the country.

Sid Bream will be speaking at Port Ann Wesleyan on Saturday, March 16, 2024, during the annual Wild Game Dinner. It starts at 5 p.m. People are to bring a dish to share with everyone. The event will begin with the meal, followed by the message and then door prizes.

We ask that everyone who plans to come to this free event pre-register as space is limited and we want to be prepared. Pre-registration can be completed online using this Google form.

Groups interested in donating door prizes, or anyone with questions about the event, should call or text John at 570-847-2718.
