Ten people of varying in ages between 4-54 were baptized on Sunday, Aug. 11, at a special evening service at the campsite of Dean and Robin Kratzer along the Susquehanna River.

Pastor Paul Sheets started the service with a message out of the book of Acts about Paul, Silas and a Philippine jailer who ultimately was converted and baptized with his family thanks to an intervention by God via Paul and Silas.

The program then moved river-side, with 10 people publicly sharing their inward faith through baptism in front of 50 people from the congregation. The evening wrapped up with a time of celebration and fellowship around the campfire with snacks, hot dogs and other goodies.
