Five members of the Port Ann Wesleyan AWANA children’s ministry recently competed in a regional AWANA Bible quizzing event at the Greenview Alliance Church in Montoursville.
The participants took a 20-question written test and then a 10-question multiple-choice paddle segment for a total of 300 points. Out of the five Port Ann quizzers which spanned two age groups in the competition, one member — Jessica Mast — took second place in the older age category. All five did an amazing job sharing their biblical knowledge learned during the year in the AWANA program.
